Thots

Read in Revelations and Genesis this morning. God says over and over "I am the Alpha and Omega..." Then in Genesis, he says "In the Beginning...". In Genesis, one important detail usually left out in the story of Adam and Eve in the garden and Eve eats the apple from the forbidden tree...it says and Eve gave to her husband WITH HER. The dummy was standing there the whole time and didn't say anything, just let Eve do wrong. But, it was all in God's plan. Then I read that God repented that He had made mankind and decided to destroy all of man and beast (the flood). Was the world any more wicked that it is today? God said He would not destroy the earth again by flood; but have we surpassed the wickedness in Noah's day?

This Thanksgiving has been a little difficult for me. First of all, I've been sick with a wheezy sounding cough where you feel like you're going to cough your insides out. My husband and I had each other and we had our son for a few hours, but other than that, our families (one within 30 minutes of us) ignored us. I don't think that we are that bad or have done such horrible things that deserve such treatment. We did hear from one side of the family (who live on the other side of the United States). I would like to see my daughter, but she refuses to answer my emails, phone calls, and any attempt to see her. She obviously feels justified in her actions. My entire family will not speak to me and only want to control me. My family does not encourage my children to have a relationship with me. I did the unthinkable. After 16 years of being divorced from my first and only husband, we reconciled and remarried. My husband and I have been trying to build our relationships back with our children (they do not like it that we remarried). We are not perfect. There doesn't seem to be anyone that is burdened as we are to get our family back together. Also, there doesn't seem to be anyone that is remarried to their first and only spouse after 16 years of divorce. God has been so good to me and it seems like my relatives don't want to give God any credit. What has been accomplished in my life has been done by God's grace, not anything that I have done. I would probably be dead if I had continued in the condition I was in-spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally.

It said that everything man thought all the time was evil. I hope we're not quite that bad.

Besides, it should be blamed on Adam anyhow; he was supposed to be in charge of Eve. And the real thing is that they tried to hide from God.

God knew what they had done, but He still asked them, Where are you? because He wants us to acknowledge our sin. Then God clothed them-showing His mercy and love in spite of our sin.
